Happy Leftover Day!

Hi all,

I didn't get a chance yesterday to wish you all a Happy Thanksgiving! I hope yours were all as wonderful as mine! Andrew and I have so many things to be thankful for and baby gulia made this an especially thankful day.

Today begins 15 weeks! I hear you can start feeling movement around now - so far nothing unless you can consider all of the food I ate yesterday moving in my tummy movement. I'll be waiting patiently to feel the little flutter everyone has told me about.

I've started working on the registry's - One at Target (I love TARGET!) and one at Babies R Us. Babies R Us gives you a jump start your registry option where they prepopulate your registry with items they suggest you need - so all I had to do was go through it and make any changes. Pretty easy! So right now I just have some basic stuff on there. I need to physically get to the stores to see and touch the big items, stroller, car seat, etc. So hang tight - there will be more additions.

Also I think I have a nursery theme narrowed down but I also need to get to Babies R Us and actually see the stuff in person but I am leaning towards this one:

I think its really cute, I like the colors and I think it's very neutral. Plus there is a lot you can do with decorating, etc.

Email list and Registering

Hello -

First off - I am feeling almost 100% better - I am still completely wiped by the end of the day. Our puppy waking up at 5 am is not helping the situation. My feet are already starting to KILL me and I get muscle aches at night ( I was told to eat more banana's). Other than that - I really can't complain! This is the last week of trimester 1!!!

My mom was looking for a way to sign up for this blog so that she would get an email every time I updated it but I can't find any functionality on here that would work so if you want to get an email when I update this blog - send me an email and I'll add you to the list. kirbywendland@yahoo.com

I was also told that I need to register now by several people - so I have started to think about doing that soon. Any helpful tips or suggestions on what we can't live with out?

Second Doctor Visit

Hi All,

Just got back from my second doctor's appointment. It was really good. I met with one of the doctors in the practice. There are four of them and one of them will be our doctor for delivery depending on who is on call. So my doctors appointments will be with each of them so that I can meet and get to know them all. Dr. Dominitz was really really nice! I like him alot. He took my blood pressure which is good. Checked my weight - I actually lost 2 pounds - he said probably from being sick. I got to hear the babies little heart beating which was so cool! I told Andy he didn't have to come to this appointment but I wish he did so he could have heard it too. My next appointment is in early December.

I had to buy some maternity jeans this weekend - I don't think I am showing that much (still need to get some pics) but when I sit down the button on the jeans was cutting into me. Holy cow - why don't we wear these things all the time!? They are so comfortable!!!!

I've definitely turned the corner as far as feeling sick is concerned! 12 weeks!!

I'm telling my boss tommorrow!

Hi everyone.....

Just wanted to check in since it's been awhile since I posted anything.

Everything is good here - the best news is that I am slowly starting to feel better and am actually feeling hungry. When before I'd just eat because I knew I needed to.

I am trying not to stress about the future of this country but am a little dismayed by last nights election results. I sure hope our taxes don't go up - I think that would be very bad for us.

Anyway, my next Dr. appointment is on Monday - so I'll have another update then.

I know I keep promising pictures - I'll try to get to it soon!
